No More For A While

No more blogging from me for a while. I’m tired of writing stuff and having to defend my opinion as if I was some crazy lunatic. Also, I’m getting annoyingly close to the point where I start writing for my “readers” (yeah, all five of you) instead of for myself, and that’s not good.
So, no more blog for a while.
UPDATE: Sometimes I’m very rash and impulsive. I wrote that it was the negative comments that are forcing me to take time off. This is a bit of an over-simplification. I honestly don’t care much about any negative comments posted. Sure, I get annoyed at them for mostly missing my point, but in the long run they are water under the bridge. The real reason for me to take some time off is simple: I have very little energy and inspiration to write. There’s too many things going on in meatspace, and I’m too stressed out about various issues to find the peace and motivation required to write somewhat decent postings. I’m going to take some time off, completely ignore the blog, completely ignore my feedreader and just relax.
Plus, my frickin’ keyboard is dying. Anyone care to sponsor me with a new Logitech Wave?

I hope you do not take a break that is way too long. Maybe you could do something like moderate the comments or something? And put up some basic rules, like for instance “If your post contain Ad hominem attacks it will not be posted” etc. That way you at least could avoid posting stuff with personal attacks instead of attacks on your arguments. Anyway, hope to see more post from you soon!

Sad to hear it, but it’s better to take a break and then come back, than to keep going in the feelings of frustration just to tire of the activity completely.

I cringed when i read this post. I will really miss reading your blog, its very interesting.
Your opinions are very accurate to me and i suspect thats why some people go nuts. Why not just take the comments away? This is your opinions and others can express theirs somwhere else ;d

Unrelated to this current post here, but I was just reading your writeup on your experience with Arctic Hack in Boden over at some really old Passagen webpage and it brought back a whole lot of quite extreme nostalgia! I loved the computer club Orion (spent all my summers and weekends there) and Arctic Hack. That was definitely the best time of my life. Ah, memories.
