Solid Block of Ise

Keen-eyed returning visitors might notice that I have a new slogan for my blog. It’s the rather nonsensical phrase “A Kevlar-Burrito Full Of Meat”.

Where does it come from? Well, I’m watching the Mythbusters episode called “Exploding Steak” where Adam and Jamie test the myth that you can tenderize meat with explosives. In a second attempt to bust the myth they decide to use an air-cannon firing steaks at a steel contraption, and Jamie says

“We’re going to be shooting a kevlar-burrito full of meat at it, and hopefully this will prevent it from spraying all over the room.”

And that expression was simply too hilarious for me to pass up. Thus, my new slogan was born.
